I think you did miss a potential Dark Elf team build - 2 Blitzers, 2 Assassins, 1 Witch Elf, 6 Line Elfs, 2 Rerolls. I think it's far better than the proposed no Blitzer build because this way you'll still be blitzing with block piece most of the time. You could also sub out a Line Elf and the witch out for a Blitzer and Runner, though I think it's better to have frenzy to keep the threat of a crowd surf alive.
